Countywide Property Review Underway
Every three years, the Bryan County Office of Assessors conducts a comprehensive review of properties across the county. This routine review is an important part of ensuring that property records are accurate and up to date. The review helps maintain fair and equitable property assessments, which are the basis for property taxes. By checking property data regularly, the County can ensure assessments reflect actual improvements, new construction, and changes to existing structures.

Over the next few weeks, staff from the Office of Assessors will be in neighborhoods throughout Bryan County. They will be:
Field reviews are taking place countywide during normal business hours. You may notice county vehicles in your area as staff conduct these site visits. Staff will complete exterior reviews only. They will not request to enter homes or businesses. Their work focuses on verifying measurements, photographing properties, and updating records.
