Overview

The North Bryan Transportation Impact Fee will go into effect January 1, 2026.  The Transportation Impact Fee is collected for all new building construction projects located in the North Bryan Impact Fee District.  The boundaries are identified on the Impact Fee District Map.  You may also consult the County's GIS Map, which includes a North Bryan Transportation Impact Fee boundary layer.  The Transportation Impact Fees collected in North Bryan are used only for identified transportation impact fee projects located in this area and are calculated based on the adopted fee schedule.  Property owners/developers may apply for a Certification of Impact Fee and/or Certification of Impact Fee Schedule.  Once a certification issued, it is valid for 180 days.  During this time, the transportation impact fees and transportation impact fee schedule subject to the certification remain in effect even if the County adopts a new impact fee schedule.

For individuals constructing a single family residence or installing a manufactured home in North Bryan, the Impact Fee Submittal Sheet should be submitted with the residential building/manufactured home permit application only if the project is for the replacement of a residence and you are requesting an exemption from Transportation Impact Fees because the residential building/manufactured home was located on the site prior to January 1, 2026.
