Mission Statement
The mission of the Bryan County Board of Elections & Registration is to conduct accurate, secure, fair and accessible Elections at the City, County, State & Federal levels. Assisting all citizens with the voter registration process, allowing them to utilize their right to vote.
2026 TENTATIVE ELECTION CALENDAR
MAY 19, 2026 GENERAL PRIMARY ELECTION NOTICES
Candidate qualifying for the May 19, General Primary and November 3, 2026 General Election will begin on Monday, March 2nd at 9:00 am and end on Friday, March 6th at 12:00 noon. Qualifying for Partisan Candidates will be conducted by each of the local Parties at their designated location. Non-Partisan & Independent Candidates qualify with the Elections Supervisor at the Board of Elections and Registration Office located at 3960 Wilma Edwards Rd., Ellabell, 31308. Qualifying fees for all local offices are as listed:

CALL FOR GENERAL PRIMARY/SPECIAL ELECTION
Notice is hereby given that the General Primary for Bryan County will be held on May 19, 2026. All polling locations will be open and available for voting from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm on Election Day. Voters must go to their assigned polling location on Election Day. The deadline for voters to register to vote for this election will be on or before April 20, 2026. Applications for Absentee Ballots will be accepted beginning March 2 through May 8.
Advance Voting will be held at the Harn Center at 91 Lanier St., Pembroke and at Richmond Hill Rec. at 508 Timber Trail, Richmond Hill. Voting will take place during the hours of 8:00 am until 5:00 pm beginning on Monday, April 27 and continue through Friday, May 15 and will also be held on Saturday, May 2nd and 9th from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm.

NOTICE OF LOGIC & ACCURACY TESTING FOR ABSENTEE/ADVANCED VOTING & ELECTION DAY EQUIPMENT
Logic and Accuracy testing for the election equipment to be used for Absentee, Advance Voting and Election Day for the May 19, 2026 General Primary Election will begin at 8:00 a.m. on April 21 and continue until completed. This testing is open to the public and will take place at the Bryan County Board of Elections and Registration Office located at the 3960 Wilma Edwards Rd., Ellabell.
ADVANCED VOTING NOTICE
Advanced Voting for the May 19, 2026 General Primary Special Election will begin on Monday, April 27 and continue through May 15. Voting will take place during the hours of 8:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Wednesday. Saturday voting will be held on May 2nd and 9th during the hours of 8:00am until 5:00pm.
