Regular meetings: 3rd Thursday of each month at 4:00pm (may be moved as necessary or to Certify Election)

All EVEN month meetings will be held:

66 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive, Richmond Hill Administrative Complex                                                                        Richmond Hill, GA. Located in the Commissioners Conference Room.

All ODD month meetings will be held:

42 N. Courthouse St., Pembroke. Located in the Commissioners Meeting Room.

Members: 5 members

Term: 4 years – no limit

Authorizing Legislation: O.C.G.A. 21-2-45

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Powers and duties of election superintendents relating to the conduct of primaries and elections pursuant to the provisions of Title 21 of the O.C.G.A.
• Powers and duties of the board of registrars relating to the registration of voters and absentee balloting procedures pursuant to the provisions of Title 21 of the O.C.G.A.

SPECIAL QUILIFICATIONS

• Must be a resident of Bryan County
• Must be a registered voter
• Never convicted of a felony
• Not a holder of elected office
